Back from camp! Okaay! So i'm back from church camp that i went together with Luisa,Prisca and Claudia! Haha. it was fun! :) though i've never been to a church camp before. Well, i'll just go briefly on the 4 days..:) Anyway, our campsite was at Sembawang campsite. unfortunately, we didn't use the high elements facility..:( It looked quite fun! The first day was full of games, ice breakers and stuff. So it was quite nice. sadly, it was raining, so we had to play games indoors. then we went to our bunks that was quite..hmm okay? Lol. in the evening, we went back to SJSM (church) and ate there. Food mostly was buffet everyday. And boy, the food sure was nice! spaghetti and cheesy fish, chicken and so on...:) then we had a Diocean Youth service at the church it was quite a crowd with some Chinese service groups and other groups from other camp organizations. So together with the english, chinese and tamil sessions, we held the service. but of course, they spoke in english :) So the second day was more games and sessions. aft sessions and an evangelism workshop, we had a picnic lunch at sembawang park we were supposed to have games thereafter but sadly, it rained! so we went back and it stopped raining -_-" anyway, we held our WET GAMES at the campsite IT WAS FUN!!! :D really :) so then it was night and we went to our bunks and DAMN! it was infested with ants. okay, probably not as many ants as you'd tink but it was really crawling all over our beds! NOO! but we managed to wipe them out of our beds and slept peacefully. expt for some inconsiderate ppl who kept the lights on and talked damn loudly and kept playing some bloody noisy music on their HPs. zzzz. so the third day was sessions were held as usual then finally! it was evangelism time. two groups.one to yishun, one to woodlands. i went to yishun and stepped into northpoint with a group of 3 other gals ;) haha it was quite fun scavenging for ppl to evangelise. it was quite a good experience anyway. reaching out :) and we had to skip lunch. but i was thirsty and so was luisa xP so in the end we went to mac and drank some drinks. :) Finally, back to camp for sharing time and ate dinner and slept. oh , of cos shower time too.. finally, it was the last day and we took photos and had prize presentations. and then, we broke camp :) The end! The food was not bad tho..XD wondering if i shld go again nxt yr ! haha bye! Labels: churchcamp |
